The Beginning
A collector's habit that became a house of three divisions.
Luxuria Fidelis began the way most collections do — with one object that would not let go. A coin, a curiosity, a piece of craftsmanship from another century. What started as a personal hunt for the scarce and the storied slowly became a discipline: researching, verifying, comparing, and learning to tell the difference between what is genuinely rare and what is merely old. Over time that discipline attracted the same question from other collectors — can you find one for me? Luxuria Fidelis is the answer to that question, organised into three specialist worlds.

The Collector
Learning to look properly — condition, surface, story and price.
Collecting teaches you to look. Not at the picture on the page, but at the surface in your hand: the honest wear of a coin that circulated, the crisp strike of one that never did, the patina that only time produces. It teaches patience, because the right piece rarely appears on schedule. And it teaches restraint, because enthusiasm without discipline is the fastest way to overpay. Everything we now describe on this site — grades, certification, condition, mintage, provenance — exists because those are the things we learned we could not afford to guess at.
03
The Search
Why sourcing, patience and relationships beat catalogues.
The best pieces rarely sit in a shop window. They move between collectors, dealers, estates and auction rooms, often before they are ever advertised. Sourcing is the craft of being in those conversations — knowing who holds what, remembering what someone mentioned six months ago, and being trusted enough to be told first. That is why Luxuria Fidelis treats sourcing as a service in its own right. If we do not have what you are looking for, the search begins rather than ends.

Lessons From the Market
The market does not care what you hoped it was worth.
We have learned the expensive lessons too: the piece bought on enthusiasm rather than evidence, the grade assumed rather than confirmed, the rarity claimed but never documented. This market rewards preparation and punishes assumption. So we price carefully, describe plainly, state when a coin is uncertified and when a mintage figure is unknown. It is less romantic than the auction language, and it is the only way we are prepared to work.
05
Why Trust Matters
In a market of claims, description is everything.
Collectors buy on trust — in the description, the grade, the provenance and the person behind it. That trust is fragile and it is earned slowly. Every listing on Luxuria Fidelis states clearly whether an object is genuine, certified, reproduction or replica. Reproductions are labelled as reproductions. Nothing is described as an original when it is not, and no piece is called the rarest of anything without documentation behind it. Integrity is not a slogan here; it is the operating rule.

The Future
Building the archive, one honest record at a time.
Luxuria Fidelis is being built as an archive as much as a destination — a record of pieces that passed through the house, including the sold ones, because those records are what give a collector confidence. In the years ahead we will continue to deepen the numismatic catalogue, expand the sourcing network, grow the collectibles cabinet and keep documenting reproductions honestly. Objects survive longer than transactions. Our job is to keep their stories accurate.
